First batch of 3104-00 ESPHome AUX AC PCBAs arrived!
Some basic initial testing was done:
- supplying with 5V didn’t damage the PCB
- output of the regulator was stable at 3.3V
- it was possible to program the ESP32 over UART and later over WiFi
Next step – testing with AC!
EDIT:
Testing with AC – passed, the device communicates with AC.
ISSUES:
- Connector pitch wrongly selected instead of 2.00mm vs 2.54mm
- Pinout wrongly assigned – TX and RX
